This is Bazzle Rathbone and this is Nigel Bruce. Tonight, Lady Esther welcomes you to one of the finest dramatic programs ever presented on the stage of this theory. Suspicion, starring Joan Fontaine in the role that won her the Academy Award, Lena A's Garth, and Nigel Bruce as Biki Fwait.
Briana Hearn, originally scheduled for the award of the Academy Award, and the award of the Academy Award, and the award of the Academy Award, as Biki Fwait. Riana Hern, originally scheduled to portray the role of Lena's husband, John Aesgarth, was taken ill last night, and Basil Rathbone took over the role on a moment's notice.
I am Lena Aesgarth. I have been married to John Aesgarth for the happiest months of my life, but those months are passed. I have been living in terror for weeks. My days end this hills of suspicion by nights in tenorable years of torment.
I'm certain my husband has decided to murder me. I can't prove it, of course, but I'm sure he's going to kill me. Just as I know he killed his best friend, beak, wait, but I can't prove that either.
I suppose I've always been afraid of Johnny. Some way, perhaps intuitively, I've known he was going to destroy me. Just as he destroyed his own good name. But I loved him. Even now, waiting for him to kill me.
I love him. I think that when Johnny does kill me, I'll die happy. I'll be relieved. I can't stand this waiting. Johnny had a reputation for wildness before our runaway marriage. One of those generally bad reputations, which no one could supply any specific details.
And I wouldn't believe generalities. I was supremely happy during our honeymoon, troubled only by the tremendous expense of our trip. But whenever I mention money, Johnny refused to answer. When we reached our new home, I mentioned far beyond my most extravagant dreams.
