Good evening, everyone. If I were a newspaper editor, I'd probably say it's the scoop of the year. Or if I were to movie producer, I'd shout colossal headline attraction. As director of the Gulf Theater, may I simply say, we present William Powell and Betty Davis, co-starred for the first time in their careers.

Our players are comedy, ballerina, slightly with accent by Robert Riley Crutcher. And here again the Gulf Theater makes Hollywood history. Well this is the first time that Betty Davis has ever been heard on the air in a comedy role.

Betty Davis and William Powell just entered the stage from our life. The audience first into applause, they acknowledge the creeping, take their places at the microphones, and the play begins. Tonight's story, we meet Betty Davis, as the great Russian ballerina, Kenya, Philip Truman.

A crowd of autograph seekers block the sidewalks and overflows into the street, waiting for the glamorous Tanya Premier downstairs of the Russian ballet to make her appearance.

Androvsky, her manager, is frantically trying to clear a path to a waiting taxi. Don't you wait, Donia! Please stand back from behind! I am Droski command. And you must get to the theater. Two thousand people are waiting to see the greatest ballerina in all Russia.
