California, the makers of old gold cigarettes present the comedy theater. The only radio program that brings you every week the greatest stars in the greatest comedies. Tonight's play, the radio version of the Paramount production, The Major and the Minor, starring Joan Fontaine and Sonny Tux.
And here is the director of the old gold comedy theater, Mr. Harold Roy. Good evening ladies and gentlemen. However, from now on, things are going to be different for Susan. Just this
morning she was hired by the Resplendre Hair Conditioning Institute, an organization that Bose has selected and, gently, clientele, as you are about to discover. Hello. I'm Mr. Ospurna. Come in. What's your name, Pretty Maiden?
Applegate. Just Applegate? Nothing in front of it? Uh, Miss. Well, that's positively terrific. I always say, give me any girl with a sense of humor. Is that what you always say? No, sometimes I just say, give me any girl.
