This is Mel Tormé with season's greetings from your neighbors in the United States Army Reserve. Christmas is a special time for Army reservists just as it is for you. In community after community, reserve centers are decorated with trees, colored lights, and the smiles of children, especially when Santa Claus arrives with a Jeep load full of gifts.
Bringing Christmas joy to disadvantaged children isn't the principal vision of the Army Reserve, but it's one of the most enjoyable. Merry Christmas from all the Army Reservists who live near me. And please, make sure you come back.
