Come all of you, good shanty boys, and listen to my song. It's all about the shanty boys and how they get along. A joy you grew up there loves, never can you find, Then that happy group of shanty boys are hurling down the pine.
At four o'clock each morning the boss begins to shout. He vowed by jolly teams, there's it's time to start the route. The teams, as they were all from bed, in our most dreadful way. Where is the boots, where is my pants, my socks have gone astray?
At six o'clock it's breakfast and every man is out. For every man who is not sick will sure be on the route. The Soyuz and the Choppers, to lay the timber low, The Swampers and the Loggers to drag it to and throw.
The springtime rolls around at last, and then the boss will see. Keep down your sars and axes, boys, and help to clear the way. And when the floating ice goes out, in business we will bribe.
200 able-bodied men are wanted on the drive.
That was the 60-second preview
