Luck presents Hollywood. The Luck's radio theater brings you idolopino, Brian Herne, and Conrad Bight in A Woman's Face. Ladies and gentlemen, your producer, Mr. Cecil B. DeMille. Ladies and gentlemen, the power of a woman's face was best described by a man.

It was the poet who calls a lovely visage of Helen of Troy, the face that launched a thousand chips. For Helen's duty had caused a war and altered the course of history. Just as the faces of women ever since have changed the destinies of men, you'll hear a story about another such woman tonight,

finally acted by Brian Ahurn, Ida Lupino and Conrad Byte. Metro Gordon mares powerful screenplay, a woman's face. The course of a man's or a woman's life is determined by strange things, like the facial scar which has warped the soul of the woman in tonight's play.

But the story of her regeneration is stranger still. I think it's a kind of drama which will thrill every one of you, and that's a big order, for I'm constantly amazed at the far corners into which lux flakes reaches to bring this audience together every Monday night under one roof.

For instance, here's a letter from a lonely corner of the Great Western Desert. A lady writes, you can't know how much the Lux Radio Theatre means to us out here. My husband works in a tungsten mine in the desert.

And since that's a war metal, everyone is working very hard. You are just about the only contact with the theatre we have, because our nearest town is 60 miles away, and the road isn't very good.

Naturally, our trips to town, we stock up on the things we need. Now when we buy luck flicked, we get enough at once to cause quite a snowstorm in this desert if they should ever get loose.
