Lux presents Hollywood. The Lux Radio Theatre brings you Anne Southern and Robert Young in A Night to Remember. Ladies and gentlemen, your producer, Mr. Cecil D. Demille. Greetings from Hollywood, ladies and gentlemen.

We can't ration the spring time, but this is one year when it's strictly unpatriotic to get spring fever. There's too much work to be done. And in case you're a bit tired after today's work, we have just the cure for what ails you.

It's a little spring tonic called a Night to Remember. And we've received some very convincing testimonials about it, promotion picture audiences throughout the nation. Columbia Studios made the picture, and we've been lucky enough to get Robert Young and Anne Southern as our stars tonight.

It took a little doing too, because they're both very busy over at Metro Golden Mayor. Anne has been working in the picture, swing shift mazy, and Bob in slightly dangerous. But tonight we've cast them as detectives in an engaging comedy mystery.

It all happens in New York's Greenwich Village, where the mystery story writer and his wife settle down to look for atmosphere. They find it all too quickly, on a corpse of tears in the backyard.

We had a surprise last week too, but a more pleasant one. We discovered that when some people buy Lux flakes, they have to take it home on a dog sled. We received a photograph from the northern part of Alberta in Canada, which proves it.

It was a picture of a trapper with his sled and dog team, and there on the sled, believe it or not, was a carton of Lux flakes. The hard-packed snow looked a little cold with a southern California eye, and the trapper was bundled up to his ears.
