Lux presents Hollywood. The Lux Radio Theatre brings you Ginger Rogers in Kitty Foil with Dennis Morgan and James Craig. Ladies and gentlemen, your producer, Mr. Cecil B. D'Amill, greetings from Hollywood ladies and gentlemen. The last time Ginger Rogers starred in the Lux Radio Theatre, she went directly from this stage to the preview of her picture Kitty Foil.

We all wished her good luck, but by that time luck had nothing to do with the case. Simple Justice gave her the applause of critics and public, and finally the Motion Picture Academy Award for the finest performance by any screen actress during the year.

And tonight, as Ginger Rogers plays her greatest role for the first time on the air, she has the same two leading men you saw in the picture, Dennis Morgan and James Craig. Christopher Morley called his novel the natural history of a woman, and the archaeo picture was exactly that.

Few stories can take an audience so close to the inner secrets of a woman's heart, and certainly no woman ever had a more sympathetic portrayal than Ginger Rogers gives kitty foil. An Academy Award is a recognition of the highest in quality, and we've tried to make every detail of our production match that.

Of course, to start with, we had Lux flakes. There's no question about quality there. And I believe the whole company has outdone itself to make this an unforgettable premiere here in the Lux Radio Theatre tonight.

You've inspired that effort by your genuine interest in every activity of this theatre, and your loyalty to our product has told us better than anything else. How sincere that interest really is. The reward we offer is the best plays and stars that we can find and as far as Lux flakes is concerned
