From Hollywood, the Hollywood Radio Theater. You're producer, Mr. Irving Covey. Living from Hollywood, ladies and gentlemen. Our play tonight is when soon discovers our husband's mysterious hatred for his brother can bring complete disaster to America.

Undercurrent was one of Metro Golden Mares' most successful dramas. And as our stars, we have invited one of our most popular actresses, Joan Fontaine, who co-stars with Mel Ferre, high on the list of our distinguished actors.

Now, act one of undercurrent, starring Joan Fontaine as Anne, as Anne, and Mel Ferre as Alan Galloway. It was a marriage no one would have predicted, and Hamilton reserved, on aspiring, and Alan Galloway, the wealthy celebrated inventor of a Galloway distance control.

He brought his bride to Washington. Their first night there, he displayed her before a large, select group of friends, when the friends had to pop. And darling, what is it? I thought they'd never go, Ellen.

Oh, you shouldn't have, you shouldn't. What, darling? I shouldn't have won. You shouldn't have married me. Your friends asked, and they know it was the story. Oh, I can't help it. I don't even know what they were talking about, and they were laughing at me, Ellen.

I know they were. And I was so proud of you tonight. I was lost and mine them. Oh, what they must have thought. I mean, well, good grief. I don't even know how to drink.

Is that all it's wearing you? I'm going to take this dress off and never see it again. Dowing is a perfectly nice dress. Nice dress. It's eight inches too short and it's only two weeks old.

Oh, Alan, you're stuck with a wife who doesn't know anything about clothes. She doesn't even know how to behave. I'll tell you what, we'll go shopping tomorrow. It won't do any good. Oh, I'm sorry.
