I don't believe that's our ring. I don't believe you're right. Well, see. Hello, John, I'm down, Storm. This is love and happiness. Let's see what's going on down at Pine Ridge. Storm is progressing nicely as circulation manager for D'Argeny Smith.

He's just completed a trip to Fort Smith, where he delivered another bundle of the pamphlets that D'Argeny's prints in his workshop back in the feedroom of the storm. to store. As we're looking on the little community today we find Lum and Abner in there and drop him down store and library. Are these boxes here big enough Long?

Yeah yeah they would be alright Abner. I put them right there close to the door so they ever bought us in one to come in the store here. Yeah yeah well now exactly what are these boxes for Long? He ain't told me yet. Well they're for defense Abner.

Ah. It's the idea I picked up on my trip to Portsmouth. See, two different stores up there had boxes set out where folks could put their old toothpaste and shaving cream tubes and old newspapers and hot water bottles and all the cities at.

Well, what's the store want with all them old things? They'll never be able to sell their customers old stuff like that one. But they don't want to sell them, eh? They give it to the giverment to be used over and over again, making defense stuff.

They do, huh? Well, they're sure them toothpaste too. Pure a tin, one feller told me. Well... The tin's awful valuable to the givement right now. Oh yeah, yeah, I reckon the tin is sure. And they want hot water bottles too, huh?
