I don't believe that's our ring. I know this law, I'll believe you're right. No, see. Hello, Johnum Downstor. This is love and abner. Let's see what's going on down in Pine Ridge. The old fellas almost patched up the differences, but an argument split them wide apart again.
Lums stomped out of the store, carrying an arm load of books out of what he claims is his half of the library. Much to Abner's dismay, one of those books was the hiding place for the paper, which Long signed last week, giving Abner ownership of the store and bakery.
Long, of course, didn't realize the paper was in there. As we're looking on the little community today, we find Long, sitting in his half of the library. Abner is running a Johnstown store, and Grandpappy Spears is just entered.
Howdy, Grandpap! Come on in! You know, don't mind for do. Hey little honey, Lum, I've never seen you sitting there. Proud to see you back in the store. I ain't back in the store, Grand Babb.
I'm in the Eddards Rent Out books library. I've went in partnerships with myself. That way I got a partner I can trust. You better step over here and get some groceries or something, Grand Babb.
Don't pay for a fella to be seen in her own kind of company, you know. In just a minute, fella, I thought this fuss and squabble was all done for her. I figured it went along taking them books on the other day.
I'm all back there in the feed room. I want to show you something. What do you want to show me? Oh, something important. You don't want to see it, I know. Well, if it's that important, all right.
