Granny's in. I believe that's our ring. I know, it's Lam, I'll believe you're right. No, see. Hello, John, I'm down, store. This is Lumb and Abner. Let's see what's going on down in Pine Ridge.

Lumb's plan to have Mousey talk Abner and do hiring Lumb as a delivery boy and general handyman didn't turn out quite as he expected. Abner hired Mousey instead, so Lumb is still just an ex-partner in the store in bakery Baker in very very sorry he ever signed over his chair of the business to Avenue.

As we look in on the little community today we find after putting up an order of groceries assisted by Mousey. I reckon that's enough stuff for him now see. Are you selling all this stuff to lama and credit?

Well I know I ain't charging him nothing for her. I'm just going to slip over to his place while he ain't there and leave the stuff and he won't know where it come from. Just going to give it to him.

Well, it's half his anyway. He's still going to half interest in the store here. I thought he signed a piece of paper giving you his half interest. Well, he did, but I ain't going to hold him to that. I just been making out like I was sorta doing that just to bring him to his senses.

Yes, sir. I'll let him back in a day or two. No, I couldn't run this store by myself. Long's always looked after the vine and all such of that. He's a good businessman if he just tends to the stores that are going into every other business that comes along.
