Mousey Gray Is Mad at Lum

What's going on down in Pine Ridge? Lums plan to have Abner to talk to Gussie Hogan and to get her to change her opinion of Lum failed completely. And so Gussie goes on blissfully believing that the locket from Lum was intended for her while her brother, Snake Hogan.

As we're looking on the little community today, we find Abner in the Jotam Down store, library, and bakery. Grandpappy Spears has just entered. Well, howdy grandpa. Howdy, howdy, Abner. Come on in. Before you been on one in our library, it seemed sort of empty.

I do sit in the library now, when I ask you. Well, I just figured I'd take me a half a day off the day, Abner. Well, been reading off or studying here late. Oh, yes, you have grandpa.

Long hours. Oh, oh. Better needs a rest, I say to myself. Better needs a rest, you see. Oh, you're right, grandpa. turbo right what you do just staying bad all morning oh no I got up early and went down to barbershop and read the week please oh where about his mom why he

went over to Luke's fair restaurant to eat lunch and worry about Gus in snake Hogan I reckon worry yeah that's all he does now ever since he put that lock it in that loaf of bread for Miss Frederick and Gus he got it by mistake oh yeah Word is after death.

He's getting himself the word, jumping, nervous. Say the highest night, marriage every night, with all kinds of gussies in him. All kinds of gussies in him. Yeah, big gussies, little gussies, middle-sized gussies. They all stare at him and hit him right on top.
