I believe that's our ring. I know this llama, I believe you're right. No, see. Hello, Johnum Nounstor. This is Lumband Abner. And now, let's see what's going on down in Pine Ridge. Last Friday, when Abner told Sister Simpson that Lumb had a broken leg so that he could get out of taking her to a social bullet at the schoolhouse,
little did he realize the trouble he was getting Lumb into. As we're looking on the little community today, we find Lumband Abner down at their Johnum Nounstor, discussing the matter. It's ever bit your fault too.
I ought to take one of these crutches and walk you right on top of the head with it. Well now don't go leaning on to me. It was your idea. Ever bit of it. My idea.
Yes, sir. Your idea. You told me to tell Sister Simpson that your leg was broke so you wouldn't have to take her to that sociable last Friday. I told you to tell Sister Simpson, but I never told you to spread it all over town.
You went over there to that sociable and told everybody there that I had a broke leg. Well, folks were asking me why you weren't there, along and in that new school teacher, at Miss Frederick's or whatever name is.
That's right, Miss Frederick. Yeah, she walked up to me while I was standing there talking to Uncle Hannah and I was, probably it wasn't a bunch of them, and said she heard you had a broke leg and want to know how you'd get along.
Well, natural, I had to say something to her, couldn't you stand there? Well, how did she hear about it? Well, I reckon Sister Simpson told her she boards over there. Yeah, I tried, ain't it?
