Guest Fred Allen - Fred asks Jack to appear on his program

The Jack Benny program. The quality of product is essential to continuing success. Lucky strike means fine tobacco. So round, so firm, so fully packed. So free and easy on the draw. LS, MFT, LS, MFT, LS, MFT.

Right you are. Lucky strike means fine tobacco. And in the cigarette it's the tobacco that counts. Mr. Lawrence Hollenmore of Shelby, North Carolina, who has been an independent tobacco buyer for 28 years, said, year after year, at auction after auction.

I've seen the makers of Lucky Strike by Ripe Sweet Tobacco, the kind that makes a really good smoke. I've smoked Lucky's myself for 23 years. Independent tobacco experts like Mr. Moore know that it takes fine tobacco to make a fine smoke, and Lucky Strike means fine tobacco.

So for your own real deep down smoking enjoyment, smoke that smoke a fine tobacco, Lucky Strike. It is for this era! The Lucky Strike program starring Jack Benny with Barry Livingston, Phil Harris, Rochester, Dennis Day and yours truly Don Wilson.

It's going to be hard to work and look at that face over there. Thank you, thank you. Hello again. This is Jack Betty talking, and Don, I can't tell you how thrilled I am being in New York.

Oh, I know just how you feel, Jack. In fact, the moment we arrived in town and I saw the reception we got, my chest swelled out with pride. Don, from where I stand, your stomach is even prouder than your chest.
