Buck Benny Rides Again - episode 10

Jakey, now now. Ohhhhhh. The Jello program starring Jack Benny with Mary Livingston and Phil Harris in his orchestra. The orchestra opens the program with Gee but you're swell. There's a right way and an easy way of doing almost everything.

And when you serve Jello for dessert you found both the right way and the easy way to please everybody. Because Jello is so bright and colorful to look at, so wonderfully good and rushing to taste, it's always short of a welcome and a mighty big one too.

Jello is no trouble to make either. It's amazingly quick and simple. All in all, it's a perfect dessert, the most popular gelatin dessert in the entire world today. Jello is first in favor because it's first in flavor.

Six delicious flavors that come from Fresh Ripe Fruit. Jello and only Jello has that grand, extra-rich, real fruit flavor. So always make sure that you get the real thing. Look for the big red letters on the box.

They spell Jell-O. That was Jim at your swell played by Phil Harris and his orchestra. And now, ladies and gentlemen, we bring you America's boyfriend who can't get a date, Jack Benny. Mr. Jell-O. Thanks. Jell-O again, this is Jack Benny, the lone wolf talking.

Hmm, can't get a date. I can have a date every night in the week if I want to. Oh, I didn't mean anything, Jack. I just wanted to start out with a laugh, that's all.

Well, it's very little humor getting laughed at other people's expense. And that reminds me, come here a minute, Don. Did you hear Fred Allen last Wednesday night? Oh, sure. It was a swell program. It was really great.
