The Hill

It was a sharp pale. The room spun around like it had come on him. Then everything blurred like Inkum of Blotter. I tried to say something, but my tongue was a lot of cotton in the mouth.

All the other guys said I was crazy. Said it wouldn't be the same, the war would be on over and everything. But I did it anyway. it anyway. a couple of letters from guys I knew during the war telling me what a tough time they were having reconverted to civilian life and pretty soon they stopped writing and that was that was like the old outfit but it was good enough.
