Thriller Night Gal Promo

You're listening to the Halloween sputacular and cult radio go go you know I think that probably I can name five of the greatest horror TV series All on one hand because that's exactly how many fingers are That would be Twilight Zone right one step beyond right the outer limits Okay, and two we're gonna have something very rare from and that is night gallery

Which also was Ron's really with the Twilight Zone and also So Boris Karloff did one. He actually did two. He did something called the Veil. Yeah. But the one I'm referring to here is the Riller.

The Riller. The Michael Jackson. No. Yeah. It was, you know, Night Gallery and Thriller was both done by Universal MCA. That's right. That's when MCA was part of Universal Studios. Yeah. And there was also a couple, there was actually a couple of thriller episodes that Boris was in.

Oh yeah, yeah. As an actor. like the old men came back from the dead. Yeah, it was a little zombie. Yeah, yeah, it had like the cobwebs and the muck hanging off of me. But anyway, we got something really rare back in the old days of television.

I guess the local affiliates that carry the networks didn't necessarily have to carry all the shows. So when a show was produced in Hollywood, they would send out something called a promo. Now this promo was sent to all the local TV stations to try to talk them into carrying that exact series.

And what we have are promos that were only originally seen by the station affiliates. These were never broadcast promos for Night Gallery and Thriller. Right. And obviously we have the audio from them. Yeah, you can't see.
