Gun smoke brought to you by Chesterfield. To put a smile in your smoking, always by Chesterfield. Made in a modern way with Accure. Around Dodge City and in the territory on West, there's just one way to handle the killers and the spoilers.

And that's with a U.S. marshal and the smell of gun smoke. Mmm smoke, towering William Conrad. The transcribed story of the violence that moved west with young America. And the story of a man who moved with it.

I'm that man. Matt Dolan, United States Marshal. The first man they look for and the last they want to meet. It's a chancy job and it makes a man watchful. And a little lonely. I think with that...

Well, I'm all through now, Mr. Dolan. What are you doing anyway? I'm nailing up a picture. I'm not sure, please. Ain't that a beautiful thing, Mr. Dylan? It's got an awful lot of color, yeah.

But what is it? Why, that's William Henry Harrison, whipping them Indians at Tipikanu. Oh. Well, this is the first time I knew he ever did it by himself. I don't know, what do you know?

I never noticed that. But it sure is pretty though, ain't it? I saw Dylan. All right, come in, man. So you're Matt Dylan. Yes, I'm. What can I do for you? You call me Amy for one thing.

My name's Amy Slater. All right, Amy? I'm 50 years old and I look 60. The prairie done that. The prairie and some other things, Marshall. Well, where you from, Amy? I've been living in Wichita the last year.

And I heard you were here, so I took the Santa Fe Railroad and I come to Dodge. Oh, why'd you want to see me? I've been waiting a long time to see you. I've been living for it.
