In the town Dodge City and in the territory on West, there's just one way to handle the killers and the spoilers, and that's where the U.S. Marshall and the smell of gun smoke. Gun was born, starring William Conrad, the story of the violence that moved West with young America, and the story of a man who moved with it.

I'm that man, Matt Dillon, United States Marshall, the first man they look for and the last thing want to meet. It's a chancey job that makes a man watchful. And a little lonely. Mr. Jones, you figure I won't have your horse shod, but now? I should have, Chester. He's a good blacksmith. I swear I don't see how nothing but prairie can wear out shoes so fast.

Where's your boots out fast enough? Well, yeah, but they ain't ironed. Well, they Take my feet in, might well be. Self-melting. Yeah, your tomma must be waiting for a horse. I mean, he's a loudmouth, aren't you, passing?

He got through with him, and I thought it was still lame. He couldn't walk or quit. I ought to break your face. See, if it was my fault, something I did wrong. Don't pay me anything.

That's the matter, Amal. Huh? Oh, Marshal, this fool Dutchman messed up my pony. Oh? Hey, there was a stone bruise. Ain't no stone bruised, martialist pinch feet. That's what it is. I ain't paying a cent to any blacksmith who cripples horses.

Hello, all the new hitters. It is all right, Chester. Best before get it now. I don't really like that, man. How about my horse, Emil? All finished. New shoes all around. Yeah, good. How much are you?
