The Golden Gate Quartet Sings 096

I heard those echoes calling. This is Tom Scott.

The Golden Gate Quartet and I would like to say hello and welcome. Welcome to a quarter hour of Spirituals by the Golden Gate Quartet. Some of their rhythmic songs will set your toes to tap and others are rich in melody.

But whatever their temple, fast or slow, these are all songs you won't try. forget songs that speak of patience, faith and love, the hopes of all mankind. These are the spirituals of the Golden Gate Quartet.

Singing me please! Lord is coming. We are waiting, waiting by each gate of sorrow, thinking of the glad tomorrow. Christ is coming. Come Lord, come. Oh Lord, won't you come by here? Hello Lord, won't you come by here?

Oh Lord, won't you come by here? Just to hear some Santa pray. Oh Lord, won't you come by here? Good Lord, won't you come by here? My Lord, won't you come by here? Just to hear some Santa pray.

Some folks say John the Baptist that he didn't know what to do But the Holy Bible tells me that John was a Christian too Hey Lord, before you come by here Oh Lord, before you come by here Just to hear some sin of praise Well, well, oh Lord But my lord, he saw me sing and chat, he took my sins away Good Lord, I want you to come by here

Good Lord, I want you to come by here, just to get some sin of prayer Good Lord, I want you to come by here, just to get some sin of prayer Lord, Lord, He wants to come by here just to get some Santa pre.
