The Golden Gate Quartet Sings 051

I hear a calls calling voices Say sometimes the past varies its treasure beyond the reach of man beyond the searching eye of the Historian not so with spiritual songs Spirituals are more than 300 years old

yet today they live on more popular than ever Listen to these songs now. The spirituals of the Golden Gate Quartet. Golden Gate's message and song today tells us we've all got to go to judgment to stand our own trial.

You can ask your mother, father, sister, or brother, but we got to go ourselves. You just can't stay away. Don't I can't stay away, am I Lord? I can't stay away, well

As my father would he stay in my trial. Who knows my father would he stay in my trial. Lord I ask my father would he stay in my trial, and I can't stay away. Don't you know I can't still wait.

I can't stay away, Lord I can still wait. As my sister would she stay in my trial. It's damn a trial, can't stay away.

Doo doo doo doo doo. Build my home just a little bit higher, so I can overmount Zion, and play on my golden

heart for the daughters of Zion. Lord, I want to fly over in Zion. Oh, let me fly. Oh, my lord, let me fly. Oh, my rinsion, let me fly. Oh, my lord, let me fly.

Yo, but inside your door, door, door, door Will let me fly No, it didn't have, but it didn't family Let me tell you three of their names It was a ham, sham Jeff at Gomar gonna build me a house Just a little bit high Gonna play with the harp and the daughter of Zion
