The Golden Gate Quartet Sings 009

I hear those vehicles calling voices. Sometimes the past buries its treasure beyond the reach of man, beyond the searching eye of the historian, not so with spiritual songs. Spirituals are more than 300 years old, yet today they live on more popular than ever.

Listen to these songs now, the Spirituals of the Golden Gate Quartet. Say it on under the ground and it looked like sinking. Well, I looked over yonder and what did I see? A band of angels.

and I cried, Lord, Lord, Lord Will this Lord load lord lord Somebody's called in Oh will load lord lord Will somebody is called in Will load lord lord lord Somebody's call. Yes, my lord. He came.

Then now somebody's call. And he took my soul. Then now somebody's call. With the Holy Spirit. Then now somebody's call. And the Spirit moved me. Then now somebody's call. I said, Father, have mercy. Then now somebody's call. Well now somebody's call.

Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord. When written that the beginning of creation was light, God's Light drove the darkness

from the blind, opened the ears of the death, gave motion to the lame and the halt. John saw this in his vision, say the Golden Gate Quartet. It was John, John the Rebelator. Tell me who is that right?

John the Rebelator. Tell me who is that right? Well, this John the Rebelator. Well, now what is he right? He's riding in the book called The Seven Seas. Tell me who is that a rider?

He's a charter man, believe it. Who is that a rider? He's a charter man, believe it. What is he riding? He's riding in the book called The Seven Seas. Oh, man, this is Messiah before he left his little home on the high.
