I am in. This is Dick Haynes. It's a big kick coming to you in person by way of this beat it's recording. Of all the music in the world, I guess there's none more beautiful in the songs we associate with Christmas. If we all live the year round and the same spirit we

find in those songs, it would be a pretty swell world, wouldn't it? Without being able to explain quite why I always associate the music of the Christmas season with children. I suppose Because it's because of the inherent goodness that we seem to radiate.

The simplicity and warmth that haven't been touched by any of the bad things we seem to find as we grow up. But even the toughest of us seem to respond to Christmas and go out of our way a little more than usual to be nicer to the people we know.

And of all the songs that contribute to this kindly spirit, I think that everybody's favorite is the beautiful hymn, Silent Night Holy Night, if I may. I'd like to sing it for you.
