Macon County Morgue

Breaker, Breaker 1-9, this here's a captain. Y'all got your ears on out there. Come on. 2-4, good buddy. This is Dr. T. Lee for the 20. Ah! Ah! We're rolling through, making county right now.

You know what they say, son? Keep from between the niches and you wind up naked with a tag on your toe. 10-4! Well, I raised some hell in them Georgia Pines Cugging up a sleeve, making moonshine I had heaven on earth in a mobile home Back in the woods twenty miles from the road

I had a woman and a dog both mean as hell Killed a dealer named Booth, he was bought it down the well So detectives came, they were looking for a bird I said we ain't seen nobody here but you You can smell that speed and you call me alive So I shot him in the head then I set him on fire

I remember my daddy saying long ago Better hit your knees boy pray to the Lord You're gonna wind up naked with a tag on your toe Did him the bacon count and more Dinnin' in the bacon county more Yeah!

Well, we're got around the detective died So they sent a hundred agents from the FBI We were sure out gone And share out man I had a 12 gauge pump and a pistol in my hand Well I shot my woman and I shot my dog I just couldn't sit there like a bump on a log

So I yelled out boys if you want me alive Come get me a matriller and we'll all survive Well speed was a cooking when I came to the door I shot the poop paint tank man settled the store I remember my daddy saying long ago Better hit your knees boy pray to the Lord
