Understand it's the best seller. It's called The Wind Blows Away. Oh, yes. There we've got that one right here on the counter. You're still there's such a big demand for it. Ah, shall I wrap it?

Yeah, please. You know, you're taking quite a chance with this book. You know, see, a lot of people are taking chances. And I understand it. It's only been out a week, and it's sold thousands of coffee.

But two people have been murdered while they were reading it. Yeah, I saw that in the papers. Oh, you did? Frankly, it's one of the reasons I'm buying it. Oh, so... I wonder why two men were murdered while they were reading it.

Well, I certainly don't know, sir. I'm glad to do it, please. I guess they don't. There you are. Thank you. That'll be $2.50. Here you are. Thank you. I hope you enjoyed the book, sir.

And that nothing happens to you. No worry about me. Good day. Call again. Thank you very well. Have you a jubey? Help me. Now, police! Go on to Dick Comer as Boston Blackie. Enemy to those who make him an enemy.

Friend. To those who have no friend. Hello? Hello, Copeland? Yes? This is John K. Lord. Oh, hello, John. How's my favorite author? Fine. How's my favorite publisher? Enjoying the sales on the Windblows West? You've written the bestseller, my boy.

I'll have to read it sometime. Oh, don't. Oh, you wonder why you published it. I know why I published it. The editor read it, that it would make a million dollars. I told you, Pommissant, because it was a work of art.
