An Argument Over Treasure Map

As the big amphibian tacks these upstream in a takeoff, suddenly a native canoe darched out into the river, right ahead of the whirling airplane propellers. believe it or not, the canoe was filled with little Indian children.

Grogan knew that noise and his party wouldn't take the risk of running into that canoe, even to save their own lives. The plane shuts off its motors and comes to a standstill. The canoe is safe.

Grogan then sends an Indian messenger out to the ship with a message ordering all aboard to come ashore at once. Mr. Gossides decides that it is best to do as ordered, and now, in the meantime, in a little hut at the far end of the village, sits Grogan and his rat-faced partner, Lymie

a cockney Englishman, as big a rogue as Grogan ever hoped to be. They are studying the secret code. I'd all right, Blimey. No use argument, that's right here, ain't it? Yeah, but Blimey votes you can't get no ed or tail out of that map and that blooming secret coat.
