AWHM ep37 Jeffrey Reveals His Wronged Conviction

A float with Henry Morgan. A float with Henry Morgan written for radio by Warren Barry and a George Edwards production. Recovering from the deadly fever, Jeffrey discovers that he is too late to save Kitty.

She's been taken to captive by deats and Delores to Cuba. Kitty cares not about her fate, believing that Jeffrey has forsaken her. Knowing that Delores is gone, but ignorant of the destination, Jeffrey goes with hero to port royal to warn Captain Morgan that finds that he too has sailed.

jeopardizing his own liberty, Jeffrey appeals to Sir Thomas Mott for help admitting that he has an escaped convict and tries to prove that he had no hand in stealing the Aztec necklace. He tells of his friendship with Dolores, but Sir Thomas interrupts him to ask how it was that Jeffrey became a convict.

Yes, that has been puzzling me too. You are obviously a man of education and intelligence. How is it that you were convicted and set out to this colony with the riffraps, the scum of humanity?

That's Tori has nothing at all to do with what I'm discussing tonight. It's done and can't be undone. I know what it means to my future by coming to use the Thomas tonight. It means my death.

But it means much more to me to be able to save Henry Morgan, his men and all their ships. I would still like to hear your story, Hunter. I will tell it to you, Sir Thomas.

When I have made you believe what really happened on the night that the Aztec necklace was taken. Yes, you'll get to convince me that what you told me is true. It all seems so perfectly clear and logical now, but I can't see how you can help but believe me.
