Do any first-preasting talking roses? What happened to it? Was it stolen? Yeah. Well, let's keep it. You are by command-scription in the muster room of the 21st Precise Hall. The nerve center. A call is coming through.
You will follow the action taken pursuant to that call from this minute until the final report is written in the 124 room after 21st Precise Hall. Well, I'll tell you what you better do. better come on into stake and how to make a report of it. No, you better come right away.
Okay. Yeah. 21st Precinct. It's just lines on a map of the city of New York. Most of the 173,000 people wedged into the 9 tenths of the square mile between Fifth Avenue and the East River wouldn't know if you asked them that they lived or worked in the 21st. Whether they know it or not,
the security of their homes, their persons and their property is the job of the men of the 21st Precinct. The twenty-first, one hundred sixty patrolmen, eleven sergeants, and four lieutenants, of whom I am the boss.
My name is Cronan, Vincent P. Cronan. I am Captain, Commander of the Twenty-first Precinct. I was doing day duty, eight AM to six PM. After I turned out the platoon and the men marched out the front door to take over their post, I walked through the back room, now across the iron grating, to the smaller building,
and back to the station house, where the detention cells are located. After I found out that the station house was opened, the doors of all six cells were opened. There had been four prisoners held over during the night, but at 7.30am the patrol wagon had come by the station house to take them to court.
