What happens
Henry Morgan, a buccaneer, is nearly killed in a dark Port Royal alley and is rescued by a stranger who refuses to say who he is. The stranger leads Morgan to the Dolphin Tavern, a den of pirates ruled over by Kitty. There Kitty meets Morgan and his companion, and she becomes fixated on an Aztec necklace that Morgan carries, which was taken from a Spanish ship and is valued by the Governor of Cuba. Her attention is drawn to the jewel, and the scene leaves her plotting to win it.
