What happens

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello play hotel workers at an apartment hotel in Hollywood, hired by Mrs. Niles in exchange for a room. Costello and Abbott's roles as clerk and bellboy lead to a run of mishaps: a vacuum cleaner that sucks up a cat and a dog, a mix-up over a married couple's room, and a swarm of bees loose in the building. The episode is part of the Abbott and Costello series, first broadcast on February 14, 1946, on NBC and ABC. Its lead actors are Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, with Joe Kirk, Elvia Allman and Connie Haines also featured.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
