What happens
Lou Costello, eager to join the circus after claiming a family of circus performers, takes a job helping with the animals and quickly causes trouble. Bud Abbott, the circus manager's straight man, tries to keep him in line as Costello tangles with the elephants, sideshow freaks, an angry Mrs. Niles, and a lion. Lou Costello and Bud Abbott star in this comedy from the Abbott and Costello radio series, first broadcast on May 9, 1946, on NBC and ABC. The episode is built around Costello's run of misunderstandings and Abbott's exasperation as the two work through a series of comic set pieces.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
