What happens
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello trade jokes on their radio show, with the characters Abbott and Costello exchanging quips about wealth, family, and dying for a living. Costello tells a garbled bedtime story about a grasshopper and a bee, then his relatives arrive at the studio and disrupt the broadcast. Marilyn Maxwell appears and sings a song, and a sketch about a canoe romance goes awry. The sponsor calls to complain about the relatives' behavior. Elvia Allman and Joe Kirk are heard among the cast alongside Connie Haines. The show airs on NBC and ABC and is dated February 6, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
