What happens
Abbott and Costello, the comedy duo of the Abbott and Costello radio series, are stationed at an air base in Tucson, Arizona. Costello arrives in a cowboy outfit and boasts of riding a horse he claims could whistle, while Abbott tries to make sense of his muddled logic. The two trade wordplay about horses, saddles, and lassos, and Costello describes a visit to the Grand Canyon. Their exchanges turn on misunderstandings and mock-logical arguments that run through the early part of the episode. The broadcast is sponsored by Camel cigarettes and features Connie Haines singing. The original air date was March 22, 1945, and the lead actors are Bud Abbott and Joe Kirk, with Elvia Allman and Connie Haines also appearing.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
