What happens

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello attend a circus parade in Hollywood, where Costello boasts of past circus feats and Abbott does not believe him. Ken Niles introduces Abbott and Costello's neighbour Mrs. Niles, who is co-chairman of a Hollywood benefit carnival and asks the pair to help. Costello is pressed into a series of carnival jobs, including a baseball-throwing booth and a lion-taming offer he declines. Sally Eilers and Connie Haines appear as part of the carnival's show. Costello is then talked into wrestling in the main tent, where Alan Hale is the opponent. The Niles household and the carnival's preparations are described as the story runs on.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
