What happens
Riesling, a blind singer of the spaceways, is first met hustling drinks in a Mars bar. Hicks, captain of the ship Gusher, offers him a last chance to return to deep space, and Riesling signs on as a jetman. A fault in the ship's drive blinds him, and years later he wanders the planets singing songs of his own making. Ill and far from home, he longs to see the green hills of Earth again. This episode is part of the X Minus One radio series, first broadcast on July 7, 1955.
