What happens
On the planet Mochlin, trading post manager Joe Brinkley and company troubleshooter Inspector Caldwell confront a rival trading post that undercuts their prices. Caldwell arrives to investigate the competition, which has taken half the local business, and she clashes with Brinkley over how to respond. The story is part of the X Minus One series, first broadcast on June 12, 1956, with the program presented by NBC in cooperation with Galaxy Science Fiction Magazine. The tale centers on the Mochlin natives, who admire humans and look increasingly human themselves.
