Roderick Usher summons Charles Wilson from London to his decaying family home, where his sister Madeline lies dying. Madeline, weakened and feverish, confides a strange belief to Charles about the bond between herself and her twin brother, and asks him for a promise concerning her burial. The household is troubled by strange events and red rain falling around the house. Adapted from the Edgar Allan Poe story, the episode is presented on Weird Circle, the old-time radio anthology series.

Listen for: Madeline's confession to Charles about the bond with her twin brother, and her request that her coffin not be sealed

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
