What happens
Matt Robertson, owner of the Robertson Ranch dairy empire in Saunders Junction, discovers that his partner Wilkes plans to expand the operation alone by buying Santa Susanna Ranch. This episode of The Whistler, broadcast on January 14, 1948, is told by the series' mysterious narrator and features Bill Boucher and David Ellis in the leading roles. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
