What happens

Peanut Marola, a small-time racketeer, plans to use George Kramer's suburban garage to store and disguise stolen cars. Kramer owes $2,000 to Mr. Albion, who threatens to take the garage. Marola persuades Kramer to sign over half the business, then proposes eliminating Albion. Kramer is left to see how the scheme develops as the plotting between the two men progresses.

A small garage in the Oakdale district on the outskirts of the city, with nearby roads and a suburban neighborhood

Characters: George Kramer, Mr. Albion, Peanut Marola, Lieutenant Clark

Listen for: Marola's proposal to Kramer about the garage and the black market in stolen cars, and Kramer's reluctant agreement

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
