Frank is convinced he must silence anyone who knows about the money, and he begins to spend cash from the wallet he takes. The Whistler presents this episode of the series, first broadcast on August 11, 1955.

Characters: Frank Seto, Wally Neil, Nora Larkin, Irene Webb, Lieutenant Roman

Listen for: The moment Frank realizes that the money he has been spending was marked, and the detective's explanation of it.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
