Lloyd McCray and his partner Matt Banyan run a small air cargo business that hides a profitable smuggling sideline across the Mexican border. The incident draws the attention of police and puts Lloyd in a race against the clock to get to his office safe. Fran Engel, a nightclub singer and Matt's girlfriend, is caught between the two partners as Lloyd tries to read what Matt knows. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
