Steve is soon drawn into a search for money from a sunken gambling ship, and tensions rise among the three. The episode is from The Whistler, a mystery series sponsored by Signal Oil, first broadcast on January 15, 1950.

Waterfront and coastal waters off Lower California, including a cabin cruiser and a salvage barge at Skull Island

Characters: Steve Henshaw, George Gromec, Melody Gromec, Pop Wilson

Listen for: The sound of the Whistler's signature whistle, the splash of the diving sequence, and the police sirens near the waterfront

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
