What happens
Tony Angelo, a gangster, visits Dr. Julius Weber, a surgeon who performs plastic surgery for criminals who wish to hide their identities. Weber transforms Angelo's face, hair, eyes and fingerprints, then demands a thousand dollars a month for the rest of his life, backing the demand with photographs and records he has kept. Angelo begins to look for other patients who might know how the doctor works, and his search leads him to a cigarette shop and then to an apartment where he finds a man he once knew. Their meeting ends in gunfire, and the story continues with the police and an arrest.
A two-story house in a city, where Dr. Julius Weber runs a surgery for criminals, with later scenes at a cigarette shop and an apartment building.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
