What happens

Paul Benton, an attorney, becomes romantically entangled with his client Cynthia Winters while his wife Edith stands in the way. Their conversations reveal Paul's growing frustration and his interest in Cynthia's money. Paul seeks out Fred Mason, a commercial film producer, and asks him to film a sailing trip Cynthia is planning with Edith, but Fred refuses the deal. The episode is part of The Whistler series, first broadcast on July 17, 1949, and this portion of the story follows Paul's plans as the tension between the three characters builds.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
