What happens

Captain Lawrence, a government police officer in Tarrach, refuses permission to George Anthony Fellows and his nephew Malcolm to enter the Mutia Escarpment, a dangerous jungle region where Fellows hopes to find an elephant graveyard. Tarzan, the jungle hero, visits Lawrence and announces he is returning to the escarpment. Later, in a Tarrach bar, a young man is shot in an incident involving Tarzan's presence, and Fellows persuades Tarzan that he faces a murder charge and must flee. The story is part of the Tarzan radio series, adapted from the novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs. The original air date was January 17, 1952.

Listen for: Fellows's plan to lure Tarzan into a trap, and Malcolm's role in the shooting at the bar.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
