What happens

Tarzan joins a safari led by Ahtan Tom after a storm and an attack by natives leave the party in disarray. Helen and Margaret Gregory are grieving the death of their father, and the group agrees to unite and continue searching for Margaret's missing brother. Tom is cautious about who will lead, and tensions remain between the newcomers and the expedition's surviving members. Tarzan has been drawn into their journey, and the party presses deeper into the jungle toward a place with no trees or grass. The series is Tarzan, first broadcast on 1935-05-23.

A jungle expedition in Africa, with a safari camp, a river crossing and a thorn bush boma, moving toward the edge of the forest and a desert beyond.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
