What happens
Jane Porter and her father, Professor Porter, are held captive in a cannibal village, where the witch doctor has trapped them in a cave. Through a line lowered from above, Jane and Paul Donner establish contact with the imprisoned pair and learn of dynamite that can open the way out. Tarzan joins the effort, and the group prepares to leave the compound before the cannibals return. Tarzan leads the party through the jungle toward the hut, arguing with Cecil over the route. Tension grows as drum signals warn of approaching warriors and the group senses danger in the silent undergrowth. The recording breaks off as the party pauses, listening for the sounds of pursuit. Tarzan, Jane and their companions are shown in this episode of the Tarzan series, based on the novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
