What happens

Tarzan and Professor Reynolds travel into the hills of Bohua in the Belgian Congo after Reynolds' bearers steal his notebook. Reynolds claims the notebook holds years of research, and he suspects the bearers belong to a tribe whose members wear a gold lion symbol. In the village, Tarzan learns that a man was put to death for theft and that a lion known as the Simba Haudari has been killing villagers. Tarzan is held prisoner by the king's men after he kills the lion, and he must make a choice to save a child.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
