What happens
Tarzan searches the jungle for the lost scientist Brian Gregory, and his party is followed by the scheming Atan Tom, who believes Tarzan is Gregory. When a stampeding herd of elephants bears down on the camp, Tarzan calls the great beast Tantor to halt them and rides into the camp on its back. Afterward the camp gathers around the fire, where Tarzan's past is discussed and Donald Gregory asks about his son's letters. Meanwhile Wolf and Margaret plot against the expedition for a diamond treasure, and Margaret sneaks toward the tent where Helen sleeps.
